Special Representative for International Labor Affairs (SRILA) Fe Rodríguez and USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Hub and Inclusive Growth Hub Bama Athreya will travel to the Dominican Republic June 16-20 to discuss President Biden’s policies. Memorandum on advancing workers’ rights, empowerment and high labour standards globally and discussed the importance of equality and inclusion in the workplace with government officials, trade unions, employer representatives, and civil society organizations. SRILA Fe Rodriguez and DAA Athreya will work with a wide range of stakeholders to further strengthen the rights of all workers in the Dominican Republic, including those from marginalized groups.
