Taylor Swift He filled the entire Irish venue with pride Saturday night when he told those in attendance that his home country provided the inspiration and imagery behind his album “Folklore.”
Taylor was performing at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium when she told the packed crowd, “‘Folklore’ in general, it’s about Ireland.” She explained how she began writing the album 2 days after the pandemic began, and, “How I imagined the album would look in the world [was like] Ireland. Telling a story with a lot of different characters. You guys have that locked down, too. This storytelling is very Irish.”

She said she created a fantasy in her head to write the songs… “…I had to make an album where I pretended to be in this imaginary world that I went to every day while I was writing… It sounded a lot like Ireland, to be honest.”
She added… “So we’re back where we should be. Folklore belongs to you guys!”
No wonder their European tour spread like wildfire. Five lakh fans were clamouring for tickets, but only 165,000 tickets were available.
Taylor is doing three shows in Dublin and the reception is tremendous.
