The 37-year-old actress spoke with ET’s Cassie DiLaura at the Season 3 premiere on Thursday in Los Angeles, and spilled the beans about becoming the latest celebrity to express a desire to join the Emmy Award-winning FX drama.
“I talked to Alicia Silverstone and I liked her, and she was like, ‘I want to be one too. [on The Bear],'” Elliott shared, adding that as a self-proclaimed “radical” no news fan,” she replied batman and robin The actress, 47, added, “You would look great in that.”
Saturday night Live alumnus – who plays Natalie “Sugar” Barzatto’s sister Jeremy Allen White‘Carmine “Carmi” Berzatto – added: “I don’t know [how to pull it off]I would love to do that. I love her.”
Aside from Silverstone’s dream cameo, Elliott didn’t say anything about Season 3 or any other potential guest stars.
“I mean, Oliver Platt as ‘Digits,’ and Molly Gordon,” he said when asked who else fans can expect to see. “Who knows? You’ll have to see [wait and] Look.”
Platt – who plays Uncle Jimmy – first appeared in Season 1, while Gordon made her debut as Carmie’s girlfriend Claire in Season 2. Both actors were already confirmed to return for Season 3. Aside from Platt and Gordon, guest stars are up the network’s sleeve as they did with Season 2.
Should Silverstone manage to secure their place in future seasons Bear — the show has already begun renewed for season 4 on FX — she’ll be the latest in a long line of incredible guest stars to grace viewers’ screens on the show. In Season 2, John Mulaney, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk and Jamie Lee Curtis were all invited to appear in the episode “Seven Fishes.”
Many of these names are now likely to receive Emmy Award nominations for their appearances as guest stars, so it’s no surprise that stars are lining up to star in the hit show – which follows an obsessive, compulsive restaurant owner as he works to get his Chicago restaurant off the ground.
Though very few details have been released about the highly-anticipated third season, Elliott told ET that she would describe the 10 new episodes in three words: “perfection, upliftment, legacy.”
Elliott made headlines earlier in the week when she said Reacted to his co-stars’ posts on the internetWhite and Ayo Edebirias well as their characters, Carmi and Sydney.
“There’s a lot of people coming on the internet,” Elliott said when asked about what fans can expect from him.
