So much for tradition.
With The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s ratings dropping, and many wondering if that’s the right thing to do The Real Housewives of New Jersey will also be canceled Ahead of this upcoming season, we now have an important update on the franchise.
And this is an important change as well.
According to a Bravo insider, there will not be a Season 14 reunion to wrap up this year’s feuds, arcs, and storylines.
This decision marks the first time the series will end without a special event.
A source told Page Six that this was due to the “divisiveness of the show,” while People magazine quoted someone who was close to the show as saying the following about the surprising move:
“A reunion is meant to be a resolution, and it became clear in the season finale that there is no way to move forward in that kind of setting. So the network is considering a different concept to end the season.”
How mysterious, isn’t it?
Season 14 Features veteran actors Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, as well as Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda and Jennifer Fessler.
Through four episodes, things actually seem more tenuous than ever between, well… everyone.
Of course, this is nothing new, as The Real Housewives of New Jersey panels at BravoCon have been different the past two years.
At this point, sisters Teresa and Melissa don’t even interact with one another, though the recently released finale trailer looks like that will eventually change.
On the other hand, Margaret doesn’t have any chemistry with Teresa either, as at the Season 13 reunion she accused the mother of four’s husband, Luis RuelasCalled his son to his business place and threatened him.
We can’t say for sure how these fights will unfold in the upcoming episodes, but expect an intense dinner for the entire cast in the final episode of season 14.
“It makes sense,” the Page Six insider teased.
“And once viewers see the finale, the decision to forgo a traditional reunion will make even more sense.”
To be clear, no one associated with Bravo has commented on this reunion rumor yet.
The only time before this that a reunion was canceled in the Real Housewives franchise was in Season 13 of The Real Housewives of New York City.

The producers fired the entire cast and brought in new women for Season 13.
“Everything and anything is on the table,” and the insider told PEOPLE about any similar move for this franchise, noting that “all options are being discussed” and “nothing has been officially decided” regarding the show.
