tottenham player rating

Guglielmo Vicario:6 – Made some big milestones. He couldn’t be blamed on Arsenal’s goals.

pedro porro:6 – Leandro Trossard kept his cool and as always did his best to get forward and whip in crosses.

Christian Romero:8 – Had a cool finish, hit the post with a header, should have scored with another header, and was generally involved in everything. Faced so many challenges.

mickey van de ven:7 – Had one disallowed goal, used his pace on several occasions to get Spurs out of trouble. Could he have headed clear towards Havertz’s goal?

ben davis:4 – Given a hard time by doubt. Davis was badly beaten and Spurs can surely only ask him to play as a center back in Ainge’s system.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg:5 – Worked hard but couldn’t impact the game after being surprisingly included. Odegaard had too much quality for him.

Rodrigo Bentancur:3 – Really poor performance and bogged down half the time. There was not enough impact on the ball, Arsenal’s midfielders were given opportunities to get forward and Spurs had no defensive balance.

Dejan Kulusevski:6 – Worked hard on the right and then in the center. Created some big chances and always remained upright.

james madison:4 – Possibly one of his worst games in a Tottenham shirt. Arsenal let the ball out of their hands on several occasions throughout the game.

timo werner:5 – Rested after 31 minutes due to injury. Could not do anything special in the first half hour.

hyung-min son:5 – Completely anonymous for most of the game apart from slotting home a penalty kick. Just before half time a golden chance went over the bar.

substitute player
Brennan Johnson (for Werner 31′): 5 – Wasted several good crossing chances.
Pep Matar Sarr (for Bentencur 46′): 6 – Worked hard and was brave on the ball.

Richarlison (for Maddison 64′): 6 – Gave Spurs a spark in late attacks and worried Arsenal.

William Saliba:7 – Solid performance as he looked calm amidst all the craziness going on.

gabriel:7 – see above. What a partnership they have built because the son had no kick.

Takehiro Tomiyasu:5 – Totally freaked out by Kulusevski. Some crooked paths.

martin odegaard:6 – Barely any touches in the first half and one late in the second. Couldn’t attend games like he usually does.

kai havertz:9 – Scored an own goal, showed great movement and bravely kept the game going while moving around. How many months does he have?
