Tim told TMZ that … law enforcement did an incredible job here to save innocent lives and protect civilians, and anyone who thinks the sniper put the hostages in danger by taking such a bold shot has no idea what it takes to snipe like that.

Tim says the sniper used a .308 caliber rifle, and at that close range — about 15 to 20 feet — the bullet would have gone straight through the computer monitor and into the criminal’s head, and there was enough energy to prevent the bullet from heading toward the hostages.
There were obviously some tense moments inside the bank, so this wasn’t an easy shot… and Tim says the sniper here did the right thing and saved lives.
