gossip Girl The star and singer shared a video on Instagram on Friday that was shot by a fan while she was performing on stage in Seville, Spain. While performing “Witches Burn,” a bat could be seen landing on her left leg. Fans were scared and pointed out the bat to alert Momsen, but she had no idea what had just happened.
“You guys are pointing at something and I don’t know what you’re saying,” she tells the crowd and then turns back and takes a closer look. Momsen can then be seen screaming, “Oh my god” upon realizing there’s a bat stuck to her leg.
“There’s a flying bat on my leg right now,” she says. “Can someone help me, please?”
Momsen, who played Jenny Humphrey gossip Girllaughs at this awkward moment, and jokes, “I must be really rich [in blood],
When some crew members come to rescue her, Momsen says, “Thank you!”
In her caption, Momsen said the incident happened on Wednesday, and that she didn’t realize the bat had landed on her foot until “the incredulous crowd was screaming and pointing.”
“He was cute but yes he bit me… so will have to get rabies shots for the next two weeks. Thank you to all the hospital staff who named me #Batgirl after seeing it on the local news that morning,” Momsen wrote in the caption of a video capturing the incident.
The video also shows Momsen receiving her first rabies vaccination at the hospital.
Momsen, who is performing with The Pretty Reckless during AC/DC’s PWR Up Tour, said the night would be “amazing!!!”
