This is the spirit you can make when you’re at the beach (or want to be) and want something light bitter and bubbly and enjoying the sunset in a cup.


  • 1 1/2 ounce [45 ml] Lillet Rose
  • 3/4 ounce [22.5 ml] Amaro, such as China-China, Nonino, or Montenegro
  • 2 Angostura Dashes Bitters
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • 4 ounce [120 ml] dry sparkling wine
  • 1 Or 2 Very thin lemon or orange wheels, if desired

  1. Combine Lillet, amaro, bitters, and salt in a wine glass filled with ice. Top with sparkling wine. Drop citrus wheels directly into glasses (if using) and serve.
