The Sonic X Shadow Generations Collector’s Edition brings value to the series with a reasonable price.
Sega announced the The collection was released early last month, but the opportunity for US fans of the superfast hedgehog to purchase the Collector’s Edition had not yet been added.
Sonic x Shadow Generations price confirmed
The Collector’s Edition will only be available through the Japanese store, so we only have to go by the changed pre-tax price:
- Standard Edition: 6,589 yen, which is about $40
- Digital Deluxe Edition: 7,689 yen, which is about $45
- Collector’s Edition: 12,969 yen, which is about $80
Standard Edition
Basic deal with base game and those who pre-order will get bonuses of sound Adventure skin and three Sonic the Hedgehog original stickers (Japan physical version only).
Digital Deluxe Edition
Digital Deluxe buyers will get the base game and access to the Digital Deluxe Season Pass. An additional character skin and level for Shadow (releasing in Winter 2024), Terios skin, extra BGM pack, Skill Points (for Sonic Generations) and a digital version of the art book and soundtrack. Pre-order bonuses include of sound Adventure Skin.
Collector’s Edition
The Collector’s Edition, priced at over $80, includes a 12 cm Shadow figure, a 5 cm keychain with Sonic and Shadow shoes, stickers, and an art book of the game.
Collector’s Edition will have special pre-order bonuses of sound With the Adventure skin (in-game), players can get a three-day head start on the game with 72 hours of early access – but not for the Nintendo Switch version.
SEGA has tried to promote Shadow, who will debut in the next installment of the Sonic Cinematic Universe. The game’s publisher has pushed the title Classic Sonic The stories state, “A new collection that includes Sonic Generations, uniting classic and modern Sonic in a journey through time and iconic Sonic worlds!”
The game will launch on October 25 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
