When Calls the Heart Finale: Elizabeth Gets Cryptic Message About Jack

Love is in the air when the heart calls Season 11 finale – But a ghost from Elizabeth and Nathan’s past appears to haunt their new romance.

While their relationship is strong, Mike begins to worry that he’s breaking too many traditions and ruining their big day. Meanwhile, Mae can’t wait to see her brother, Beau, in Hope Valley for the wedding – even if there won’t be any pre-wedding festivities.

Despite the quick turnaround, Mei’s bridesmaids, Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) and Minnie Canfield (Natasha Burnett), manages to surprise Fiona Miller by meeting her (Kayla Wallace), who has been in Nashville all season.

Fiona jokes, “You don’t think I won’t be able to attend your wedding, do you?” and then reveals that she is in town to be Mike’s “best woman”. Fiona later asks Faith to join her as a suffragist doctor in Nashville, but Faith turns her down because she is happy raising Lily (Chloe McKinnon) in Hope Valley.

Leland Coulter(Kavan Smith) receives a surprising offer during this episode when he proposes a new plan for the land he previously sold to Governor Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) Leland says that after his resort dream doesn’t come true, he wants to use the property to create a national park.

Lucas, who is trying to avoid negative press about the resort drama, likes the idea. However, he wants Leland to move to Capital City, where both Leland and his wife, Rosemary, live (Pascal Hutton), surprises his wife. The couple leaves the audience in suspense as they contemplate the proposal.

As the episode progresses, Mei receives the sad news that her brother will not be able to attend the ceremony. The next day she learns that her fiancé Mike has gone missing.

The girls do their best to keep Mei’s spirits up while the boys try to find Mike before the ceremony. While Mei is in her traditional Chinese bridal attire, she hears the sound of bells, signaling that the wedding rituals have begun.

Mike surprises his bride with a musical entrance and an official engagement ring—and most importantly, he brings her brother, Beau, along to celebrate. “It was very exciting,” Mike says of his long journey to get Beau in time for the ceremony.

Joseph Canfield (Viv Leacock) then marries the couple in front of the entire town, reminding everyone that “of all God’s gifts, love is surely the most precious and lasting.”

After the wedding — which Elizabeth and Nathan celebrate as their coming-out party — a ghost from their past comes to town. “I guess fate takes what life gives you and turns it into something you want,” Nathan says before kissing Elizabeth.

Mountie Superintendent Andrew Hargreaves (David Lewis) interrupts the pair and explains that he is there on official duty, but that it doesn’t include Nathan.
