Wuthering Waves developer issues apology for launch issues

The developer of gacha adventure game Wuthering Waves has apologised for a series of hotfixes that disrupted the game’s release, with the latest hotfix locking players out of the game and forcing them to reinstall the game.

Kuro Games apologizes

Chinese developer Kuro Games released a Apologies on X via the official Wuthering Waves account. To make up for it, Kuro Games also offered ten Lustrous Tides to affected players.

“We have identified some issues that have impacted your gaming experience and are now actively working on solutions,” the developer wrote. “We are committed to continued self-reflection and improvement, with your satisfaction being our top priority. We are incredibly grateful for your understanding and patience during our recent technical issues.”

The developer has listed all the issues related to the game in a long list Post on the Wuthering Waves website. These include a login timeout issue, an age authentication problem, and compatibility issues with some Android devices. At the time of writing, there are eight known issues with the game, but arguably the most significant problem for players is localization, which the developers say they are trying to “constantly improve.”

“Fixations for some known issues with current localized texts will be included in a patch to be released soon,” the post reads. “Please be assured that we are dedicated to providing our players with the best possible experience, and we take performance concerns seriously. In future updates, we will continue to optimize game performance to improve your gaming experience.”
