On behalf of the United States of America, I offer my congratulations to the people of the Kingdom of Denmark on the occasion of the celebration of the anniversary of their Constitution.
The partnership between the United States and Denmark has flourished for more than two centuries and is based on shared democratic values and a common vision for global peace, stability, and prosperity. We look forward to deepening our partnership as we continue to strengthen our alliance through NATO; ensure a secure, stable, and prosperous Arctic region; defend against authoritarian regimes and threats to democracy; support further growth in trade and investment between our countries; tackle the climate crisis and manage the green transition; collaborate on cutting-edge research; and strengthen our cultural ties.
I join you in the celebration of this anniversary of the signing of the Danish Constitution and wish the people of Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands continued health and prosperity.
