American Idol Will look a little different in the upcoming season katy perry will be Relinquishing his role as judge – And there has been no confirmation as to who will replace him. However, there is no shortage of potential candidates and Perry’s teammates statue Judges have very strong opinions.
ET’s Denny Directo Chatted with some of the judges after Monday’s big show – where the Season 22 competition was narrowed down to the top 10.
During the episode, meghan trainor demonstrated her expertise as a coach – and this naturally raised the question of whether or not she might be able to take Perry’s place behind the judges’ table next season.
“I think Megan has always been fun. You know, having fun has been her brand.” luke brian Shared with ET. ,[She’s] Real funny, that’s for sure.”
That being said, Bryan also admitted that he has at least “10 names” in mind as possibilities, but he’s not ready to share them just yet — and he admitted that he hasn’t considered any such. Haven’t even heard of the idea which may or may not have already been thrown around by the show’s producers.
Ryan Seacrest They equally praised the trainer and his charismatic presence this season statue,
“She was great,” Seacrest shared. “Megan is also a super talent and has a great sense of humor. She’s funny and she’s spontaneous.”
For Lionel RichieThe most important quality for one statue The judges – especially the ones who will be working with her and Bryan – have the ability to have fun.
Richie said, laughing, “It would be fun, but not ego. Because we would insult each other a lot.” “And when you’re with Luke, he doesn’t know he’s killing you.”
Richie didn’t consider the possibility of Trainor joining the panel – but he had some suggestions of his own, including Kelly Clarkson.
Richie said, “I’ve got my list, but Kelly, if you have nothing else to do, I’d like to leave it at that.” “I’m a big fan.”
“Oh, and by the way, Taylor, if you’re available, we’d like to hang you out,” he said, TeaOrganized Poet’s Department artist, “call me!”
Perry announced his plans to step back from his role as a American Idol Judge earlier this year, and spoke to ET last week about her decision to exit the show,
“I’m just trying to make room for other things,” explained Perry — who shares 3-year-old daughter Daisy Dove with fiancé Orlando Bloom, “It’s not like ending this show means I’m going to retire to an island, even though that would be fantastic. I’ll go to work.”
